I had Libby write a list from A to Z of what she is thankful for:

Great list but not quite what I was going for. So I changed what I asked her to do the second time around. This time, I asked for sentences and to tell me why she was thankful for that. I threw out the number ten but after four sentences, I told her to just give me six -- since that is her age. Here's her second list:
I am takeful for Mom and Dad!
I am takeful for my house so we can sarviv!
I am takeful for my shcool so I can larn!
I am takeful for my finds so I wood not have to be lonle!
I am takeful for gim so we can staw helthe!
I am takeful for chruch so we can larn about God!

Love her use of exclamation points -- just like her momma! excited about everything she says! This was precious I thought and wanted to share. Does anybody still read this blog? Let me know. She is fixing our tent in the basement to have a mother-daughter sleepover, could be a new Thanksgiving tradition. Pray for my back! Bobby has done plenty of these with her but he is upstairs in our nice comfy bed. What a blessing - family. I'll have to work on my list -- 40 things may take me awhile...but here is my first one: I am thankful for the rain, not because we need it, but because I love to fall asleep to the rain. TWENTY ten

No post for 2010?! WOW, what have I been doing?
I just read my post from August last year -- did I ever need to read that one again.
So it is 8:55 pm and B is watching the second half of the America-Algeria World Cup game that we started watching at lunch today. I don't have time to post now but I will -- soon.
Plus I need to update our family picture -- Libby just turned six yesterday and that picture is from her fourth birthday! I am just a little behind. But my house is clean, mostly, so I don't have to feel bad if I spend some time online blogging. TTFN, akl
