Bedtime

Daddy's turn tonight so I have a few minutes. We just finished watching Monsters, Inc. as a family. She gave me a cheek-ear kiss. After getting sick from her germs, I tried to teach her the European way to kiss -- cheek to cheek. She has made it her own and now likes to get my ear!

Tomorrow we meet with her teacher, Ms. Estepp, for our first parent conference! There is no school just parents coming in all day, I would dread that! I hate to say that is the worst part about my job. And not all of them, to be fair.

I have pictures but it has been so long, I don't really remember all the steps from camera to blog. Maybe if we get that big snow storm next week, I can relearn how to do that.

Sorry it has been so long since the last post. I will try to get back in the habit of posting once a week on the weekends. For myself at least. I know nobody checks anymore because I never have anything. This is my journal, just very public, but a way of remembering a few things. I didn't want to forget the way she kissed me goodnight this evening. Or just sitting on the couch as a family, legs propped up on the ottoman, all snuggled under the black fuzzy blanket. Good memories!

Of course I check still....always looking forward to an update. Early on, I tried to teach Nick the butterfly kiss (eyelashes to cheek) but he didn't really embrace it so you just reminded me to try again...he might like it now. ;)

Kristina, what a sweet memory to write down. I have been trying to keep a written journal for Hunter...but I may have to do it online like you. Easier and keeps people in touch with us. Hope y'all are well. Love, Kim
